HAWAII

 Rex and I traveled to Hawaii to see Tanner,  Tara and Brock were not able to go,with school and sports and activities that they had. Tanner had two performance's while we were there.  The concert choir was fabulous! I could have listened to them all night. I truly was amazed at the quality of the choir, it was one of the very best concerts I have EVER been to. part way through, they changed into the  Hawaiian attire.

 Tanner sang a couple of solos. He was incredible

 On Sunday, we got up at 6:00a.m. to listen to  General conference on our computer. then after, Tanner came to the resort with two friends, Shawn, and Tiffany.  We grilled salmon, and stakes, and  ate a great meal together, then spent the day at the resort. We stayed at the beautiful Marriott at  Kolina.

 We had a wonderful time with Tanner, meeting teachers, seeing  where he lives,  We went to the Polynesian culture center, and met people there who he works with.  We enjoyed  a wonderful day there as well as the  fabulous night show.

 Another performance that Tanner was involved in was a percussion group. as part of the program these darling little girls danced.

Tanner sang a solo with this group as well.

 This group was incredible as well. the  instruments they played were so  cool. they played some amazing music! Tanner is larger than life over there. he is involved in so many great things. and is LOVED by everyone.

 Tanner and Bronwyn at Kahuku's grill. this is truly one of my favorite places.. the coconut shrimp is  delicious!  another place that is a must to hit while in Hawaii is called "Leonard's bakery. they make. a delicious pastry called " malasadas". my favorite is the  coconut, but the chocolate, lemon, and plain are Delicious as well. 

While we were there, we attended the beautiful Temple.
